About Me

I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the State of Texas. I am the Executive Director of Business Development for a Drug and Alcohol Treatment facility called Summer Sky Treatment Center. I am currently a member of the Texas Association of Addictions Professionals (TAAP) and I am now serving as Vice President of The Texas Addiction Professionals Peer Assistance Network (TAPNET). I am a private interventionist as well as owner and operator of Sober Sky and 31 addiction related websites.

I created the Sober Sky a consumer addiction guide to share with the consumer information about addiction and treatment programs. I got the idea in 2002, when I noticed the internet was filled with a lot of addiction information; however it was difficult to collect the information from one resource. Sober Sky is my way of contributing to education and information to the world. The only financial gain I receive from Sober Sky is the occasional advertisement from a treatment program on the site. This helps to pay for the cost of the site. I hope you enjoy the site and I look forward to any post that you wish to share on the site.
